Health & Safety

Ensures the well-being and security of the campus community. This includes developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, providing safety training and education, and coordinating emergency response plans. These positions play a vital role in promoting a culture of safety, preventing accidents and injuries, and maintaining compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Additionally, these positions may involve collaborating with various stakeholders, conducting safety audits, and staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in health and safety management.

Sub Family

Ensures environmental/staff health & safety standards are met in all areas of the institution. Activities include: developing and implementing measures to protect the environment and ensuring institution business operations are sustainable; conducting safety audits; identifying campus hazards and hazardous conditions in both internal/external environments; investigating staff and environmental accidents and recommending corrective actions; educating and training staff in workplace/environmental health and safety.

Responsible for law enforcement to the community to protect life and/or property, promote order, and preserve the general welfare through enforcement and/or education of state laws and referral of applicable university rules and regulations.

Develops, implements, and coordinates risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and developing strategies to mitigate and respond to emergencies such as natural disasters, public health crises, and campus incidents.

Protects life and property, maintains security and order, and preserves the general welfare of the campus community. Includes patrolling and crime prevention/detection.
