Responsible for promoting and advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion within the institution’s community. This includes developing and implementing initiatives, programs, and policies that foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff.

Sub Family

Ensures the university’s compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws relating to accessibility for people with disabilities, including building/facility as well as digital accessibility. Identifies, analyzes, prioritizes and manages the removal of barriers to people with disabilities. Investigates and responds to any technical inquiries concerning accessibility issues. Drives changes across the university to continually improve and enhance accessibility options.

Oversees diversity, equity, and access matters at the institution for faculty, staff, and students. Activities include developing, implementing and monitoring institutional policies and programs regarding diversity, equity, and access and ensuring institutional-wide awareness and the successful integration of diversity concepts and culture.

Oversees ministry matters at the institution, including managing programs and activities for the Georgetown community such as social gatherings, retreats, service, education, and liturgies.

Ensures compliance with Title IX regulations and promotes a safe and inclusive campus environment. Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures related to preventing and addressing discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. Conducts investigations into reports of Title IX violations, providing support and resources to students, and facilitating educational programs and training on Title IX rights and responsibilities. Collaborates with various campus stakeholders, such as students, faculty, staff, and community partners, to foster a culture of respect, equity, and accountability. Stays up to date on relevant laws and regulations, maintains accurate records, and contributes to ongoing efforts to enhance campus climate and prevent discrimination.
