Educational Resources

Provides educational services for faculty, staff, and students. Activities may include instructional design, curriculum implementation, and teaching and learning assessment. Creates and curates materials and programs to support and evaluate academic and program objectives, course design and delivery. Responsible for the operations, maintenance, and management of the university’s libraries and its services. Plans, administers, and leads library resources, research, and services to meet the information needs of the community.

Sub Family

Provides services to faculty, staff and students related to digital library collections. Activities include developing, coordinating, and maintaining interactive services on the web and mobile devices that provides quality user experience for the digital libraries, organizing and preserving the library web content, developing digital projects and collections and a full range of reference, instruction, collection management, preservation, and metadata services for all areas of digital scholarship, and supporting the digital and online presence of the libraries through the investigation, implementation and enhancement of tools that assist with research, instruction and scholarship.

Provides course design consultation to instructional staff and graduate students. Designs courses and workshops for face-to-face, online, and hybrid delivery. May also provide course support and assistance. Develops instructional resources for faculty, staff, and students including citation management programs, assessment tools, and research techniques and practices. Responsible for organizing, developing, managing, and providing instructional materials. Activities include: planning, organizing, and developing training curricula and/or delivery and management of instruction.

Collects and archives the institution’s library materials that support instruction, education, and research. Positions in this sub-family participate in cataloging, licensing, and securing access to library collections. May also be responsible for managing the library’s database and delivery of electronic resources.

Assists librarians and library staff through customer service and administrative support. Responsibilities include responding to student, faculty, and staff inquiries, re-stocking shelves, compiling records of library inventory, and checking materials in and out of circulation.

Responsible for duties related to the collection, conservation, and exhibition of scientific, historical, cultural and/or artistic assets. Plans, develops, curates, and delivers art and museum services, collections, and programs that best serve the institution’s community. Oversees conservation and display of various collections. May also pursue external funding opportunities.
