Academic Affairs

Manages all aspects of university academic programs. Positions in this job family provide an enhanced academic experience for students and faculty. Activities may include overseeing international student initiatives or managing and/or evaluating the effectiveness of academic programs.

Sub Family

Plans, coordinates, manages, and executes academic programs or initiatives at the university. Activities include coordinating academic events, supporting program curriculum development, scheduling event/facility space, marketing and communication related to the program/initiative, and managing program budget. Responsibilities may also include financial management on behalf of the program, process improvement initatitves, or resource allocation.

Develops, implements, and evaluates academic services offered to students to insure they achieve their full academic potential.

Responsible for leading academic initiatives at the university. Reserved for faculty members with administrative appointments.

Administers the university’s international services. Liaises with governments to ensure a streamlined process for international student offerings. Activities include developing and implementing the university’s policy and programs regarding international students, working across the university to ensure programs and offerings are developed to meet student demand, planning and developing activities to support international students in their academic, personal, social and environmental adjustments to campus life.
