The Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9 Form) is a legal document used by an employer to verify an employee's identity and to establish that the worker is eligible to accept employment in the United States. ALL new hires (Faculty, Staff and Students) need to complete Section 1 of their Form I-9 on or before their first day of employment for pay. Please be sure the form is filled out in its entirety before you sign and date the form in Section 2. The person who signs off on Section 2 is liable for any errors on the form.
