Reminder: Annual Performance Review Timeline

Dear Colleagues,

As a reminder, Annual Performance Reviews for the period spanning March 1, 2021 – February 28, 2022 formally began on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. The full performance review cycle can be found in the email below, but as a reminder, all self-evaluations should have been submitted by March 25, and manager evaluations are due no later than this Friday, April 29

Annual Performance Reviews must be completed for all employees hired, promoted, transferred or reclassified prior to March 1, 2022, and will be included in the employee’s personnel record. A current performance review should be completed in order for a staff or AAP employee to be eligible for a compensation increase (HR Policy 707  (new window)). As recently announced by Dave Green and our Executive Vice Presidents, there will be a 3% merit pool available ahead of FY2023. More details about allocating this merit pool will be provided to our campus leaders and their finance offices in the coming days.  

Staff and AAP employees who have been good performers, contributed to the department’s goals, and have met or exceeded their individual performance goals are eligible for a merit increase. The employee’s individual performance review should be used to determine the amount of any merit increase.
