Inclement Weather Information

PLEASE NOTE: TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO BE PAID FOR DAYS WHEN THE UNIVERSITY IS CLOSED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. ONLY THOSE EMPLOYEES WHO WERE REQUIRED TO WORK ON THOSE DAYS ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE PAID.

Please phone the appropriate number below to determine whether or not you are expected to report to your temporary assignment at the:

• Main Campus or Medical Center: 202-687-SNOW (7669)
• Law Center: 202-662-9446

If it is announced that the Main Campus, Medical Center or Law Center is closed, do not report for work. There is no need to notify our office or your department.

If it is announced that University employees have liberal leave or that the University will remain open, if at all possible, you are expected to report to work. If you cannot report to work, you are expected to contact our office at 202-687-2530 and to notify your assignment supervisor.

If a delayed opening is announced, you are expected to report to your assignment by the specified time. You will only be paid for actual hours worked.
