Bring Your Child To Work Day

National Bring Your Child to Work Day is an annual educational program that promotes exposing children between the ages of 5-17 to different career paths, businesses practices and workplace environments. The event occurs on the fourth Thursday of April each year.

This year Georgetown University’s Bring Your Child to Work Day will be hosted by the Department of Human Resources and will include the following opportunities:

  • GU Swag Bag at Check In
  • Campus Tours
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Photos with Jack the Bulldog
  • 10% Discount at Campus Bookstore
  • Free kids meal for every adult meal
    purchased at Leo O’Donovan Hall

If you took part in our adventure last year, we extend a warm invitation for you to join us again this year, where you’ll discover an array of new tour stops and activities!

This event requires registration in advance. A photo release form must be signed upon registration.

To participate in these events, families must register in advance along with a photo release form, which must be signed. The program will be conducted with the children’s parents present at all times.

Schedule: 9-9:45 a.m.- Family Check-In & Light Refreshments, 9:15-9:45 a.m.- Photos with Jack the Bulldog, 9:45 a.m.- "Welcome" and Activities Begin!, 11:45 a.m.- Tour ends at Leo O'Donovan Dining Hall.
