Addressing Family Distress During Difficult Times
The prolonged economic downturn results in many levels of family distress – job loss, financial problems, increased personal stress, uncertainty, and sadness. It may seem as though the very foundations of life have become less stable and more ambiguous.
In keeping with our commitment to our core mission, the University provides employees and their family members with a variety of programs that offer coping strategies, solace, hope, and solutions.
In addition to the ongoing programs that you and your family can access, some specific programs are being offered during these most difficult times. These services and programs are offered free of charge. We understand that the economic downturn has stretched budgets, and believe that as men and women for others, we can help you by providing education, support, and interaction to enable you and your family to weather this financial storm. Program offerings will be updated based on need and feedback. Please check back for updates.
